Delaware Resort Towns
Lewes, "the first town in the first state," is a charismatic community offering a charming harbor, beautiful sandy beaches and inviting restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. Lewes also boasts several historic sites and the Zwaanendael Museum, which chronicles the sea faring history of Lewes and Cape Henlopen.
Rehoboth Beach, a lively neighbor to the south, is a fabulous oceanfront retreat and a delight for the young and old. Rehoboth, which means "room for all," features gorgeous stretches of beach, gourmet restaurants, upscale specialty shops, a boardwalk amusement park and The Rehoboth Art League.
Continuing south, Dewey Beach is known for its friendly beaches and "laid back" lifestyle. Bay sports and busting nightlife are a big appeal to this small coastal hot spot. The Dewey beaches, clean and serene, are the perfect spot for watching the waves move in and spotting dolphin (mostly in June and July). If you are more of a partier, you can visit The Starboard, voted one of America’s Top 25 Bars, or travel 10 minutes to downtown Rehoboth Beach and visit the Dogfish Head Brewery, Delaware’s first brewpub.
Traveling further south, you'll find "The Quiet Resorts" of Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. These tranquil seaside towns are best described by the relaxing family atmosphere, which is enjoyed by year-round residents and visitors alike. The nearby town of Ocean View, Delaware is a family-oriented town with home-town roots and is an attraction for retirees and vacationers alike.
Attractions Abound
The Delaware Beach Resort area is also home to championship golf courses, tax-free outlet shopping and numerous arts festivals such as the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival and the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival.
Whatever your interests, our resort area has something for you, your family and friends to enjoy!
